13/13, but most of those I learned in high school or middle school. And gracing is used to extract oil too, not just natural gas

13/13. I think my 9yo took that test in science last week.

I can't even imagine being the goober head that only got one right.

between 8 and 12 correct seemed to include the largest % overall ... hard to believe someone could miss 5 of those

my mom got 7 right.. but she's 62 years old with no college education and doesn't really pay attention to scientifical kinds of things..

I managed 13/13 SWMBO pulled a 12/13 (damn you Nitrogen) I am know many very talented people who couldn't get more than 6 or 7 of these right.

My wife (who is an actress) just got 12/13. She wasn't sure about the "fracking" question.

Pretty sad that only 7% get all of them (missing one is not bad either)

sadly, that attitude of "why do I need to know about that" led to this test and only 7% getting all the answers correct. People can't just learn "what they need". If that were the case, we would still be living in small villiages surrounding stone castles while our lords lived (literally) like kings

On the other hand... the people posting in the 7% would be up in the castle carrying out their perverse whims on the peasantry so... I have mixed feelings.

It is entirely possible the questions are just a sampling of what the average psych grad student who does this sort of thing for a thesis thinks a science savvy person should know.

In honesty, they are a bit shallow for use of the word "savvy". I'd say "kind of aware" covers it better.
