There's no danger of it hitting us as it'll only come to within 5.7 times the distance to the moon.

It's about 1,200 feet in diameter and will reach its closest point at 12:27 AM ET on Dec, 4th.

I read somewhere that an eight inch telescope or larger would be able to detect it...I mean, it is the length of 92.31 stock NA Miata's cheeky

It won't hit us this time, but after a close fly-by its trajectory will be altered and it might bean us the next time around. smiley
