I found the local SCCA, but I'm always reading about some stand-alone clubs in GRM. My little sister wants to try autocrossing, but I don't want her to get the 3-and-done SCCA experience (she drag races and her main complaint is not enough runs). Local PCA is already done for the season, and the CFRC looks more like a zoo than an actual autocross (thoug AX at night does sound kind of fun...).

Personally, I like CFRC's program better than the SCCA. It's not a zoo at all. IIt's laid back and you get a ton of seat time for $35, with no b.s. about fitting into certain classes, etc, and you don't even have to work the course. I'd say it would be much better for learning than getting involved in an SCCA event, and wasting a whole day to make 4 runs kinda sucks IMO.
