Ok just watched it and it made no sense. Anyone else watching this?
It's a prequel (and spinoff) to Breaking Bad...if you didn't see that, I could see how there might be some confusion. It's a low-key, subversive noirish dramedy. A bit slow at first as everything gets established, but it's well worth your time. You won't be disappointed if you stick with it....

That goes for every AMC show.
Never saw an episode yet because of my shift and I don't record. Need to catch up, he was great on BB.

Did you start by watching Season 1? This is Season 2 and there's a lot to follow. And yes, there are hundreds of Breaking Bad references because it's a prequel. I'm enjoying it a lot.
The last episode was a real cliffhanger, I do enjoy it and am eager to see more breaking bad characters.
I watched the first couple of episodes before watching BB and found it unengaging. Then I watched the entire BB series and I'm back into Saul and liking it this time.
The end of season one kind of pissed me off... felt like a very forced cliffhanger.
I enjoyed it though, I loved BB. Will binge watch season 2 whenever it hits netflix.
My favorite character from BB was Mike Arhentrout. The fact that he's one of the main characters on Saul makes it a home run for me. Plus Kim is (insert wolf whistle here)....
It's a little slow to build, but I'm watching and enjoying. Fear the walking dead is pretty terrible if you're looking for a really disappointing prequel series though.
