I can also recommend Tisas. The hot setup is Wilson combat mags.

Yes, the pun was intentional.
Which forum or group or individual can give me an honest value assessment of a truly weird, 1/1 rifle?
.219 Zipper, Remington rolling block action, left handed stock, scratched up.
I'm assuming $1.50, but is the action valuable? The .219 barrel? I can attach better pics if this stirs any discussion or curiosity. Tell me it's junk. Tell me it's worth a million. I don't know, but care to know, if there's a way to know, you know?

Wow, that is truly an obscure rifle... A sporterized Rolling Block Remington might bring a few hundred dollars in a more accessible caliber, but .219 Zipper? And left handed?? It might actually be worth $400-500 if you can wait a decade to find the right buyer. Of course, in a decade, anyone interested in a .219 Zipper Rolling Block will be too old to shoot one, if they aren't already.
About the only way to know its true value is to put it up on an auction site with no reserve and wait and see what it sells for. Someone might be interested just for the action, but who knows what they'd be willing to pay?

I have a couple Tisas 1911s. They perform much better than they have any right to do at that price point, and I quite like them. Fit and finish has been surprisingly decent on my Tisas 9mm and 10mm 1911s, even as compared to my Colts and Kimbers.
I'm in NY, so 10 rd mag limit and no threaded barrels allowed. The new 9mm Nightstalker single stack could be my huckleberry. I wish it had slide comp instead of a bushing comp though. I also wish the Raider had an optics cut. The other option would be the MAC DS D Comp and get the mags pinned to 10 by my FFL.
Assuming it ever gets here, I have a Mossberg Scout Rifle coming.
I've wanted one for years, I am excite
By the way, dunno if anyone else has commented on this yet, but the CMP is claiming they'll have new production M1 Garands available soon, possibly by the end of the year. I'm told the price will be steep, however, at about $1900.... :(
