I’m looking for a vintage receiver, specifically a Marantz, but may be open to others (although I’m being very picky). Guy on Facebook markets has a bunch for sale, but no real detailed listings. Here is our communications over the course of about 2 hours (I initiated while on lunch)
Probably not someone I want to deal with anyways, but sheesh. Either write a good ad in the first place or don’t be an ass
I've dealt with people like that on car part deals. In the end, I wanted to say "Dude, you'll selling me a plastic bumper cover, not the key to eternal life and happiness."

I guess I've been fairly lucky with FB sales for the most part, but yeah - sometimes people can be strange.
Part of (most of?) the reason I still have a massive pile of stuff to sell is that I really don't want to deal with people.
This is the first thing I think of:
Wait Six Days
I've had exactly 3 decent encounters with Facebook market place. The rest is a lot of nope.
Dude was trying to sell me car in someone else name.

About the same here. I really dont like selling or buying from facebook
I tried to sell a car at rehab,
The buyer said "No, No, No!"
If you name's not on the title, I'm not buying your car, unless you're helping your mom or something. Then I want to meet Mom. Otherwise the car is in legal limbo. I get a lot of pushback on that but I don't care. If I can't meet or talk to the listed owner, then I'm not interested.

I looked at one RX7 that was being sold as a part of an estate sale, and another that the wife was selling because her husband had dementia, but other than those sorts of cases I agree.
(I didn't buy either, but that was for non-title-related reasons)
