So, I'm a big fan of this style and had two sets for my 944. Traded my 944 for a 928 and absolutely hated the phone dials, so I put my spare set of Etoile 455 wheels on it. They look great and the rears fit with a spacer! But the fronts stick out some and aren't really safe to drive. These are 16X9 and 16X10, for the record. I love the look, but finding them is super difficult, probably because they're so old. Does anyone have any info on finding any? From my understanding, if I found some with the correct offset I could have them safely redrilled, since the centers are forged. But preferably, a Porsche bolt pattern with the front wheel being around ET60. Locating these wheels is next to impossible, but my fingers are crossed that someone will know something. I think the 16s look best, but I'd be open to some 17s. Pic so you can see what I"m talking about, my new 928:

I used to buy and sell those all the time but haven't seen a set in awhile. The etoile is usually one piece or welded three piece so just be careful with what you find. Good luck!

Maybe go to Pelican Parts forum and ask if anyone has a pair ?

In reply to chandler :

Let me know if you find any that are 16 inch and ET55 or ET60 or so! Even just a pair for the fronts would be okay. I've seen a few 17" sets here and there over the years, that would be neat too. Better tire selection.
