That second gif shows a fatal crash in which the navigator perished; one of many sad days for the Group B rally cars.

June 6th was my Grandfather's Birthday also. He landed at Normandy beach. Said it was the largest birthday party in the world. He told them they didn't have to throw it for him. LOL
In the Army he was a train conductor with a sharpshooter specialty (military qualifications/MOS sure have changed BTW).
If you knew him, you would realize that was the easiest designation ever decided to give a solider

I had a smaller version in my front yard this morning:
It took about thirty minutes to remove a tree, it's roots and a get thorough clean-up; not bad.
