the rock is a nice touch
This weekend, we did a thing!
My first ever engine install. A factory fresh Blueprint 383 into a 2 owner Trans Am (I am neither of the 2, just FYI)...its a work in progress, but it was suuuper fun. Last weekend was rust removal and POR15. That stuff is amazing.

Not intended to be related, but...

When you say Sbarro, I think of the pizza shop in the mall food court that sold really, REALLY crappy pizza, that was actually dusty with flour on the bottom, but it was still better than anything else if you wanted to take a break from throwing a week's pay worth of tokens down at the video arcade.
Best game ever. An actual H-pattern shifter, a clutch pedal, and force feedback steering wheel in the 1980s.
Bonus: It had an "autocross" option and I vaguely remember that it counted hitting cones against your time remaining.

ouch. OUCH. There's a thread on pistonheads where someone documented that individual sock filters like that are a massive airflow restriction compared to a proper full-length airbox. Independent runner throttles, whether carb or EFI, require the full instantaneous flow through the valve of all portions of the intake tract. Having a sock filter like that was proven on pistonheads to cost 50hp on a 200hp (nee' 150hp) four cylinder engine.
/* insert comment here about any vehicle where most of the photos involve highres images of the way the tire integrates with the fender flare, has absolutely no relation at all with "proper engineering", and it is expected that all build decisons were made with aesthetics in mind over actually being useful as a performace vehicle
Images theoretically unrelated because it's in a different post, but you know I'm making a statement.
(carefully note that I did not hotlink an image of Success brand instant rice)
