Easter weekend car show. I liked this one, just for its rarity.

Don't worry the governor is on top of it. It's got something to do with greedy oil companies, he is CERTAIN of that!!
I needed a noisebox for an old car. Walked into an electronics store, and asked for the cheapest stereo they had.
I'm curious about the age break between people who remember that name and what it represented, and those who dont.
Also, apparently you can buy a stereo that doesn't have a cd player.
Get off my lawn.

I guess one factor for CA/ west coast is relatively few oil pipelines connecting it to everything east of the Rockies. I have no idea why IL is higher. I rather seriously don't care either...

I really like Avanti's. I wouldn't mind owning one someday. But there's about 10-15 other cars I'd rather have before it. But maybe someday. It was conceived and designed in Palm Springs. I've seen the house/studio that Raymond Loewy owned and where he employed the Art Center College designers. There's still a big Avanti owner's group in Palm Springs.

Rover 3500
Depending on-size I'd call it a rover sd1
edit: and those are Jeep grand Cherokee wheels which look really really good on it

Ian Fleming owned an Avanti.

A co-worker owns one and lives in southern Maine. He plays with the thought of selling it every year.
