Brian Lohnes did a fascinating video on Central Islip, who bought a new WO51 Dodge Coronet lightweight drag car with the 426 Race Hemi and immediately cut it up for competition in NY Fireman Drill Team Exhibitions.

My godfather lived in Islip near where they held the competitions. We'd go to his place then head over and watch. I had friends on the junior firefighter version (Bay Shore in the house). They'd pull a hand cart instead of using a vehicle.

Yeah, we got a little snow last night too.
