So mine are hotlinked and the rest are not, correct? What we should be saying is everyone should stop embedding images that are not on their own site unless they are willing to hotlink the pic to give the hosting site their props.

I'll sometimes go through our server logs and discover that someone's lifted one of our pictures to put in a forum thread - and in almost all cases, it's because they're discussing our stuff. I have no problem with that at all! Even if they're not, the picture will sometimes catch someone's attention and they'll want to know where it's from. On the pictures that we're pretty sure will get posted on forums, we'll stamp it with our company name. Just like Tom did.
I've also found a competitor or two who lifted our pictures to sell their stuff, that's not so cool. In one case, a graphic designer hired to do an ad for a direct (and now defunct) competitor used a cool photo of a Miata he'd found online. And it was my car 
Yeah, he got fired. In fact, I think that ad was in GRM. Boy, was the competitor embarrassed when I called to point it out.
BTW, Tom, has the server log twitched on that picture yet?
I like it that Mr. stop hotlinking is sticking by his guns. Good for you. I would type more, but it might be stealing GRM's bandwidth.

First you googlez your favorite topic like "hong beer pic" and see what comes up. Once you find said image you right click and "copy image URL". Then in GRM click add post and above the smileys there is a camera, click and paste the image URL in that box, sometimes you may have to put the cursor before the text and hit return to make it show in the preview box, add post and your hotlinking.
