Just posting a link is not going to cut it in this thread. You forgot to add a pic.
Is this car guy (and friend of the mag) to blame for the high beltline and giant car trend?

I used to work in Dells biggest toner shipping factory...if you think its bad when you drop it in front of the printer, imagine what happens when a forklift driver drops a full skid of the stuff from 4 stories up....

Check the difference in the wheelbase and the distance between the door jambs and rear wheel arch. One is not like the other.

I think the one on the right is a little bit closer than the one on the left. Which is which and should it really matter to me? The one on the left looks a little more 911ish to me and one on the right looks a little more Caymanesque. I'm guessing the one on the right is the newer one?

There used to be a picture of Ralph Giles standing next to one of his behemoths (Chrysler 300).

TJ, the car on the right is a bit closer to the camera and, yes, it's the "new" version.
I'm looking more at the length of the sheet metal between the door jamb and the rear wheel opening; there's more of it when compared to the car on the left. There's also speculation that eight cylinders reside in the new one:

Can't say it matters to me, either. If I were ever in a position to throw money at a new Porsche, it would be a Cayman R. Hands down

The speculators are incorrect. It's coming to market with more interior space rather than larger engine bay. 3.4 and 3.8 liter direct injected flat sixes.
However, there are rumors of a V8 mounted amidships of an ALL NEW car, potentially called the 961!
There is also a rumor of a mid engined small roadster below the boxster/cayman powered by a 2.0T VW 4 cylinder.
This is an old 961!
