Where is a good place to go for large rolls of speaker wire, connectors, etc? Like wholesale stuff or "I'm in the planning stages of starting a business and want to know where to go for the good stuff"

I know the measurable difference between "speaker wire" and lamp/appliance cord of the same gauge is the price tag.

This does depend to some degree on the end use. If you are actually considering starting a car audio installation business, the appearance and branding of the wiring and other products can be as or more important than its measurable performance. A halfarsed Google resulted in this list of audio equipment suppliers on Thomasnet: probably unhelpful

I did a search myself and I found all sorts of distributors. Most of them I need a Tax ID to view pricing and such, but I've got an idea of what I'm looking for.

Parts express might be a good way to go. Also, radio shack is bankrupt. Raid their connection bins. No one buys that stuff from them.

Not sure I'd trust my livelihood on anything radioshack has offered for sale in this century.

You may be able to make a deal with Monster. Back when I worked at RadioShack, we would get 90% off the shelf price, so I would expect they may make a deal if you exclusively use their products.
