Had lunch with my SO at a unique place. It has thousand of die-cast models all over the place.
The walls are covered with metal auto related signs. Anybody heard of Pegasus Oil ?
The service and food was excellent.
Located in a village in upstate NY.
It's not that unusual to see an auto or motorsport themed restaurant around here in metro Detroit. There are a couple near me, the obvious one being Vinsetta Garage on Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak. It occupies a building that was an automotive repair shop with the same name. One that supprised me recently is Zeoli's Itallian restaurant in Clawson. There is a Ducati behind the bar, which struck me as a large and expensive piece of decor.
What makes a town a village? This southerner wants to know.
We live in a "Village" which is within the Town limits. It's historical, we get services others don't . (push leaves to the curb vs bagging)
The rest of it is up to a lawyer.
A town is a part of a county. A village is like a small city. More organized than a town.
