This is gonna go no where but since this board is kinda awesome, here goes... Anyone have a contact to trailer (flatbed, whatever, it's awd so no dollies) a car from Reno to Seattle? Preferrable also hauling the now-kinda-stranded driver? We're wating to hear back from Ryder. After that, if I add up a 1 way airline ticket plus whatever the shipping outit wants, it may then just make more sense to hitch up a trailer to ol' Bessy and go get 'em...

It's a longshot, but you may want to post your predicament here:

Can't help with the shipping but if it's broken, PM me and I'll give you the number for my go-to shop in Sparks. They work on pretty much anything are more or less the go-to shop for the SCCA members around here.

If it's not pissing fluids you might be able to park the car at my place for a week or two until you can pick it up. Oh, and check out the fares on Alaska, they're pretty much the only airline I use to get to Seattle.

Forgot to mention it's Hot August Nights here at the moment so everybody with a trailer seems to be rather busy carting cars around.

What we have here is a hotrod who's turbo (IHI VJ20) shaft seals are sending copious amounts of oil into the intake tract and I don't trust it to finish the drive. It smokes like a foundry, it's only a matter of time. There' s no point in spending any money on this turbo as it is the small one and the ballbearing big turbo I have sitting here will be making its way into the car asap.
