I push words around for pay. It's not especially interesting or gratifying. I like cars, too, so while editing some construction specs, I came upon sub-part 1.3.4.2, which, unfortunately, had nothing to do with 4 cyl firing order, but is more interesting to think about than temporary erosion and sediment control at a construction site.
As you were...
I write automotive technical stuff all day every day and I still find it painfully boring at times. Except when i get to play with new (pre-production) Vipers and cars who's model names start with srt.

Haha. I remember addresses or phone numbers if they are tied to displacements....or even a firing order once. My current address ends in 401. My work address is 327, the off-site office is 426. Man am I ever sick.
I knew a guy who bought a house he HATED just because it's address was 302 Mustang Way. He did a LOT of remodeling and then bought and built a crazy fast Foxbody Coupe.

Years ago I was on a bowling team at work, and I didn't own my own bowling ball so I used one of the rental balls at the bowling alley. It was number 426.
We won the championship, so it must have been a good ball.
