Matador coupe is much nicer than matador sedan

This. I Thought someone had taken a hatchet to the design at first, but upon further review and seeing many in public, ive grown to lIke it. Still mad as hell they couldn't bother with round taillights though.

there is a yellow one about with a black stripe. Looks like a kitcar

Red and yellow ones still look like a transformer kind of contraption to me, but black and white ones are growing on me.
In addition to my previous comment about the Element, these.
Clowns shoes. Can't believe I'm the first to say it.
Hated these in photos, saw them in person and they're now on my want list

Always loved these.
The '73-'81 C10s. Now I think I'd rather have one of those than a '67-'72. I blame the Muscle Truck
I still think the post facelift '82-'87 trucks are hideous though.
My buddy's neighbour has one and I get all lusty every time I see it. Early rwd escort suspension and steering. Rwd Mitsubishi 4g engine and transmission. Carbureted - manual choke even.
What's not to love?

Porsche 914
I used to think they were weird and ungainly. I think they've aged really well, and now IMHO they are funky and cool.
I thought these were ill proportioned when released. Fort some strange reason, I think they're cool now, sort of a MKVIII vibe. Has to be supercharged, though.

My uncle bought one of those new in 1975, I think it was even the same color. I drove it a couple hundred miles on a family trip once, but don't recall anything about the actual driving experience other than it was pretty boring.
As a kid playing with hot wheels in the age of the Countach and Testarosa, I didn't like the 911 and 959.
Going the opposite way, I used to think that the '70 Mustang was the best of the classic Mustangs. Now I can't help but think it's one of the ugliest.
That front end is just so gawky. The '69 is clearly the best.
I bought an R-5 out of the showroom in 1980 for something like $3200. Boot scooted all over the place with a wife, beagle in the back and a hang glider strapped to the roof.
Silver and Russet Red. Funky, ugly, but I would buy one for the fun of it.

I still find the 959 kinda ugly. Amazing machine, but not pleasing to look at IMHO. I much prefer the standard, or Turbo 911.

I like the 959 better than I did, but I really like the 911 now. It is even relatively attainable compared to the Lamborghini I worshipped as a kid. The slant nose still does nothing for me.

I'd get an kind of reddish-orange one, and put feature lines on it from the center of the grille to around the top of the front wheelwells, and paint the area ahead of those lines a kind of light reddish-purplich color. So kind of like the Martini colors, but emphasizing that the car looks kinda like a hootus.

I like the 959, one of the only Porsches I like, and I can't stand the 911
An AMC Pacer was on the shortlist of cars to donate a body-shell for what became the Molvo project. With a 100" wheelbase, it would have been an easier swap.
Back on topic, I loved the early Buick Rivieras but hated the boatail when it came out. Rather like it now:

Very much this.
Driving through PA a couple weekends ago, I saw a K car on the highway and said out loud "that actually doesn't look so bad." So K cars.
In reply to Knurled:
I looked it up a couple of months ago. Law is bizzare, along the lines of needing to petition your local town or county (if you live out of town) for a limited use allowance in that given community on non highway type roads. Cannot use it outside of the granting jurisdiction, though. Conversely, in Indiana (pretty close to Cincinnati), you can use one anywhere but on an interstate. Same in Kentucky, I believe. Ohio motor vehicle law is just so backwards vs. neighboring states.
