He was Eddie Murphy’s brother and was also a comedian/actor.
He really came to fame after showing up on Dave Chapelle's skit show where he told crazy Hollywood stories from running around as part of Eddie's crew. Unlike Eddie, Charlie didn't have a problem drinking, etc. and he had several run ins with Prince and Rick James. Absolutely hilarious stuff. Google it.
