I got a robot fish:
What did you all get?

It's the gift that keeps on giving.
It's not even midnight here yet. I am still wide awake waiting until morning to open gifts. Loki is sleeping in the living room chair keeping watch for any fat guys in red suits trying to sneak in.

4:00 am and I was just able to convince mine to go to bed. Worst thing is that he will probably be awake by 6:30am.

I almost bought a pair of giant fish pillows yesterday. But at $20-each, seemed like a waste.
A big National Geographic book on the World's Greatest Drives, some model truck kits, and some money for next months trip to Daytona.
I'm through the roof excited, mouth hanging open. I did not expect this at all. I kind of feel like a heel now, because all I got her was a new VS bra and a Coach purse, which I originally thought was an over the top gift until I opened mine.
In her words though, this wasn't just a Christmas gift, it was a "putting up with her while she got her PhD in OH for 3 years, and Christmas" gift.
I also got a kick ass little Gigabyte Bluetooth travel mouse and case, but I knew I was getting it.
We've still got two sets of grandparents to do Christmas with today, and all I can think about is all the projects I want to do with my new welder.

I got one! Of course, it has a remote control.
Me and my momma are renting a place together this year since we both have a temporary need to be in this area (College for me and a in between kinda of job for her), so we had Christmas last night and parted ways for Christmas morning. She went absolutely overboard and bought me a ton of clothes from express, knowing that a lot of my wardrobe is way too big for me nowadays. I pays to have a stylish mom.
A welder would have been nice, though.
Our son can't be home until Friday so we are waiting to open presents. Mrs. 914 hands me one and says "This is from Santa so open it now".
OK
Feels like two DVDs.
Yep.
RED 2 and Airplane.
Airplane?
She's like "Let me go make tea and I REALLY really want to watch this!"
Airplane? The 1970s movie that everyone spoofs and was crappy to begin with?
The look on her face.........
She wants to watch Planes.
Bwahahahahahahahaaaaaaa.
Merry Christmas all.

These are the coolest thing I've ever seen. I have a 55 gallon tank with only one fish in it, and he's the meanest berkleyer to ever have fins. Kills everything I put in with him. I need to get a few of those, and sit back and watch him have at it.
I'm by myself this year - surrounded by mounds of Kleenex and acid-trip cough syrup. It's okay though, it's like a vacation. I can justify staying in my pjs and reading in bed.
