Looking to set some eye bolts with washers into concrete in pails to help "stake out" my tent at Daytona (I'm in the parking lot outside). Do I need any particular type of concrete? I have some 5 gallon buckets that I will be cutting down so that they aren't too tall (they were free). Hoping to do this fairly inexpensively, but if it costs more to do it right the first time, I won't waste money doing it twice.
Nope, any concrete should work in that situation.
Can always ask Margie what she uses

Wait, casting in place, or drill & anchor? Either works...
Sackrete, and mix it in the buckets. Put a fender washer and nut on the eyebolt just 'cuz.
What Motomoron said.
Tip: Pour in 1/3 of the sack. Add water. Mix. Repeat until gone. Easier to mix that way.
Awesomesauce! Thanks guys. Yes, planning a trip to the big box store for eye bolts, and nuts and washers to help hold them in. A tent that doesn't collapse should help in getting SWMBO to agree to The Mitty just shy of 5 months later :)
Oh, and cast in place, seems quite a bit easier.

Make sure you get concrete and not mortar.

Minor mod to the tip...
Add the water (a very small amount) first. Much easier to mix if there is not dry product stuck in the bottom corners of the bucket.
