I just got a message from an semi-unreliable source that says there's supposed to be a massive solar flare hitting the earth tonight between 12:00 and 3:00. Anyone hear anything about this? My google-fu is coming up short. That'd be the lime in the corona of this situation so to speak. Probably bull E36 M3,  just wondering.

I can't find anything that would warrant concern.  There is apparently this hole in the sun's atmosphere that's supposed to fart a bit of solar wind this way.  Might influence auroras.

Guess it was nothing lol. A big CME would be really bad because I dont think any of out E36 M3 is shielded effectively. Back to the stone age all of a sudden would be real bad. Think how much information would be lost alone, never mind the damage to infrastructure.

I just finished a book that had Coronal Mass Ejection as a drink name. Pretty sure I don't want to try one. It sounds like a mix of Fireball or Goldschläger and Jägermeister. Just thinking about that makes me want to hurl.

That's all I got.

It's 9 am on the east coast.  I think we made it.  Or am I the only one with internet access?
