King of the Hill was something I didnt really get when it came out. I was 13-14 when it premiered, and I was a HUGE Beavis and Butthead fan, and I was like, what is this boring E36 M3. Funny how being 38 now and watching it in syndication, how it resonates. Adulting man.
Ugh. I don't even want to think about what kind of a clusterberkeley this is going to be.
Stop rebooting and ruining things for nostalgia. Come up with an original idea, or get the berkeley out of Hollywood so someone with an original idea can do something.

Not sure why you think its gonna be a cluster. Its the original creators, on their network. They have complete control.

Exact same for me. I watched it as a kid and thought it was ok. I rewatched it as an adult and thought it was brilliant. So funny.
I'll tell you hwat, that's just what this country needs right now, some good, wholesome family entertainment.
I'm excited.
My son used to think Boomhauer was talking gibberish, until my wife translated for him. I knew a couple guys talked like that

The greatest thing about Beavis and Butt-Head was the music. I found a lot of my early metal favorites because of them, and the rest was hilarious. I would watch just then watching music for hours.

I've worked with a couple of guys along the way that did as well. And a friend from east tx (he's closer to Victoria now) that could imitate Hank perfectly.
Wife and I have been watching it for months. If you use some imagination and picture it as a live-action sitcom it's even funnier.
Neat. It'll be interesting to see how they continue the series - pick it up where it left off or a decade later with the same characters, but 10 years older. I'm guessing (hoping?) the latter, with the main focus on Bobby and his kids with Hank and Peggy as amusing grandparents and the rest of the gang in "whacky aunt/uncle" roles.
I think most people from the South could understand Boomhauer. At least I was able to most of the time, despite being many decades removed from my Georgia upbringing...

Also, Fox has nothing to do with it.
