That is what it really boils down to, control. If they could get some control between plays, the rest would sort itself out.

I thought the most dangerous play in ball sports was storming the stands in detroit...........

The J. O'Neil sliding punch that leveled the fan was the best though........
There are plenty of bad penalty calls going on.... The non call on Heyward-Bey during the Stoolers/Afraiders game. It clearly was a leap and made the "helmet to helmet" contact, but no flag.
Trying to look at it objectively: Did you watch the game? They replayed the hit over and over. Did not look deliberate (and by the way, I was REALLY happy to see dude was released today and a full recovery is expected) and the commentators agreed.
However, the chop block that injured Ziggy Hood, and the late hate on Ben's knee - deliberate, and delivered via helmet, both happened right in front of the officials, and were never called. Not saying "IT COST US THE GAME!!!" We laid down and got our asses kicked. But if you're not watching the game through Steeler hating glasses, it looks a little different.

Steelers hate?
God, there are so many better teams to hate... Let's see... Patriots, Giants, Saints, Raiders, Eagles, Panthers(if only for Cam, spit that damn gum out and win some games). I will post up more as I think about them.
Edit: God how could I forget the Ravens.

As is made evident by all their recent super bowl wins, right? Yeah, those 0-3 Taints are especially terrifying. Yes, I realize we lost by three to Oakland, but seriously? You think they're a better team than Pittsburgh? Oakland? The city where the criminals end refuse of the NFL go to die? berkeleyin Bob Costascats? Really? Know how you get Cam in the first round? Have the worst berkeleying record in the NFL. At least it was better than their stellar 2-14 2010 season though, right?
Good news is, this how most of our Superbowl seasons start; couple early losses to E36 M3 teams, with a bunch of retards who have no berkeleying clue what they're talking about comparing us to teams who've eeked their way into the playoffs once or twice in the last ten years.

As I stated, those are teams I can't stand. I have no problem with the Steelers. Mike Wallace is the berkeleying man.
I'm still a pretty new fan, and I'm still learning about the game, and even I am noticing how bogus these calls are.
Welp, that game right there did it. The owners will unberk this, this week. I'd expect to see the refs get what they want.
Well there was offensive pass interference and an interception. I don't blame McCarthy for walking off the field. I think Thursday night we will have the refs back.
I watched the first game I have watched this season and as an un-ashamed not football fan even I was going WTF?!?
We turned down the volume at the bar. You could hear it. Packers fans heads exploding.
I hate Packer guts, but damn, that was bad.

I don't know it seems plenty of people are still watching the games so it isn't like the NFLs pocket is hurting I don't think.
Thats why I think something like this would have to happen. Team owners are gonna step in. First one up will be the owner of the Packers, others will step in. None of them want their season screwed because of calls like that. Its not the money that the NFL is losing that will change this, it's the guys running the teams wanting titles.
