Outside of a lot of asian food (which I realize is a gigantic part of weird food), I struggle to come up with food that I won't at least try.

The only thing I won't try is nervous system tissue; no brains or spinal cord. Everything else is fair game.

Current favourites are seared beef heart, cheek meet (beef is best, but recently had pork that was OK), and crazy fermented dishes (OK, the natto was a bit much ). Absolutely love pho with tendon and tripe.

Crickets, aside from the legs, which get stuck in my throat. This is solved with cricket powder:

I've tried everything I've been offered so far, haven't found much I won't eat if prepared in a certain way. That's the key for me. Boiled turnips? Disgusting. Pickled turnips? Delicious.

According to this thread it further confirms that I eat and enjoy stuff that is weird or gross to most people

I'm generally willing to try almost anything. I am, however, lactose intolerant so creamy sauces and really rich dishes are off my menu. I can take the pills and not get cramps etc., but I get the Pavlov's dog reaction with just a taste of most French (or creamy like alfredo) dishes and the constant mouth full of saliva makes me nauseous.

Also, not sure I'd try the balut deal unless I was drunk enough or seriously about to die from starvation. Although I think SWMBO would starve to death before considering eating something that even looked like what it was when alive.
