I am incapable of understanding how she thought this was a good idea.

To put it mildly, that was poor judgment.

So when the TSA did it to her, it was perfectly alright and in accordance with their procedures. When she, a former TSA agent, did it back to them, the TSA considers it violence and battery. Hmmm. Poor judgement indeed, but that line of thinking stood out to me.

I hate the TSA. I really do, but there has to be same level of difference between them and us. You wouldn't expect your doctor to take kindly to you sticking your finger up his ass after he does the same to you, now would you? I know these things aren't the same. But not everything in life is quid pro quo.

Idea - Halloween costume = TSA agent. Schtick = grope random people at Halloween party, and ask brown people to leave.

Stood out to me also. As well the poor judgement.

I just want to say thanks to all the people so scared of flying after 9/11 to make this all possible.

I'm in the none berkeleys given camp here, as I won't fly due to the stupidity of it.

I think it would be more like:

Make everyone remove their shoes and grope all the brown people.

(Having a fondness for brown people would be helpful)

I only fly a few times a year, but as much as I don't like it, it doesn't stop me from traveling.

Of course, at the party will be some guy at the party who "wants you to touch his junk."

In all irony, I am sitting at the airport right now writing this after having just reviewed my Powerpoint presentation again.

Hey shooter, I'm headed out of CAK with a hop through ATL then off to PHX.

My sister freaks out about things like this. I told her to run to Lover's Package, find the largest toy she could, and go through security with it stuffed down her pants. TSA Agent rubs up the leg of an attractive younger woman and finds a 15 inch woody it may be worth all the harassment that comes after.

So TSA is above the law but LAPD isn't.

I'm all for secure airline travel. What I'm not really a fan of is how we're going about it.

So a guy tries to bring exploding shoes on a plane......now we have to remove our shoes. We have TSA agents @ or near min wage acting as the gatekeepers. We're supposed to trust them and the high tech (body scanners, Xray, metal detectors) as well as the occasional feel and grope. And let's not forget that the feel and grope has to appear to be uniform across the population. So for every person who looks like they may fit a profile for terrorist activity, they have to do the feel and grope on someone in a wheelchair, an elderly woman, a pregnant woman, or a child.

I hear that bomb snifffing dogs work really well in Israel's airports. I can't imagine a better deterrent than having to pass through a metal detector and a line of armed military personnel and 3~4 bomb sniffing schutzhund trained GSDs.

When the feds had an open house to high for jobs near me the TSA were making no where near min wage. They were starting out in the 40k arena.

We could take a few lessons from Israel's airport security.

Obviously illegal. Smuggling a friendly weapon.
