Do you over analyze your parking strategy?

Killing 4 spots with 1 "small" truck. thats primo parking too. Just outside the garden center at lowes. 

More cludge hitch. Makes me knees hurt just looking at it. 

Yes, I picked this spot on purpose. Probably could have gotten close to the walkway, but there was already a lot of room on my right. Plus I‘ve never seen a crowd at this one. 

Before you go somewhere new, it’s totally normal to plan your parking on Google Street View, right?

If its somewhere I have never been I check out the parking situation on maps before I leave the house. 

If I had to put this much energy in to parking I am not sure I would ever leave the house. I never knew people thought about parking so much.

All the time when I'm driving a mini-Freightliner and a 35' car hauler.

I like to make sure that I can get out of wherever I'm pulling in. Even when the customer says "We get big trucks in here all the time".

I drive a stick, so I try to park for easiest rollout without having to use first or reverse. Forces me to maintain my parking brake too.
