This afternoon I met DrBoost. He pulled a transmission from a 944 with my feeble help. We chattered away and I had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Thanks for your help.

Gosh, you guys are too nice. Yer makin me blush
PilotBraden and Gladly are good guys too. I enjoyed hanging out with you two too.
It takes two decent people to have a good time. PilotBraden, Gladly, and the other GRM folks I've met have been genuinely good folks.
Next time though, we'll read the manual BEFORE the trans is hanging precariously haha
Work with him for a few years and then tell me what you think! He's the kinda guy that microwaves fish and eats it during a meeting!
If those of you in Genesee County (or anywhere in Michigan for that matter) need any help (automotive-related or not), I am willing to lend a hand, tools, truck, or moral support. I can curse in multiple languages if that helps.

Oooohhhh- he’s that guy! Lol!
We’ve not met in person yet, but correspondence we’ve had shows the doctor is a super swell guy.

I also like to put a bag of microwave popcorn in the microwave, set it to 8 minutes and just walk away.
Stop it guy, you're making me feel all warm and fuzzy. Stop....no really, keep it up.
Except LogDog. He's just mean.
Next time I will turn around for the manual when I remember that it is on the table at home. Also it would be better not to have my arm in a cast

I need this! Cursing in english doesn't seem to solve the problems anymore.
I grew up in the province of Quebec, so I can curse in French. It rarely helps with work on the car though.
I forgot just how many GRM folks I've met, not counting the challenge many moons ago. And here I though I was a hermit with no life. Turns out, I'm a hermit with no life that has meet some pretty cool folks.
Except Logdog.
You'll need to log in to post.
