Birds aren't real is a funny story, that guy really leaned into the hysteria just for fun.
Remember people we are the top 2% of intelligence in this country the bottom 50% is really dumb. Drones over military bases and cities that are a threat from outside of our borders, yeah, not going to be a problem right now.
Random drones will continue until a swarm shows up, it will be a test of our good ole boys system, you know the one where all of our registered guns come out to defend our country.
I'm not sure about the rest of the country but I know Michigan has more guns than citizens and lots of itchy trigger fingers. I have no worries about a few drones.
And the Government still knows nothing ....

Great, it takes a British newspaper to reveal the truth about this idiotic drone scare. Now all of these drone hobbyist can stop flying their toys just to draw attention to themselves.

I'd take anything in the Daily Mail with a hefty pinch of salt (it's pretty much England's New York Post) but the existence of a military drone program (and I'm sure there are many) doesn't mean that's what everybody's seeing, or even what anybody saw. It was probably a mix of a few different drone incidents including some unusually large ones and then a crowd of people misidentifying ordinary planes and even stars as drones.
I actually canceled drone flights today at a building we are looking at. Just because people are stupid alarmists and I don't need the police showing up. Even though management of the building has sent emails out and posted notices to the residence.
Just a slow news cycle that is becoming a PITA for the rest of us.
Put away those laser pointers, folks. Some of those "drones" are actually planes.
