Oh wise folk of GRM! It is time to tile my master bath floor. The plan is to do eclectic under tile radiant heating. The circuit is already there so it is a matter of putting down the mat and wiring it up. That said...

I have done enough research online to know that I now know nothing. So I turn to the smartest people I know. Do any of you have any thoughts/wisdom you can share on buying and installing electric radiant heating?

The bathroom is a 140SQFT if that makes a difference.

Thank you for your time and stuff.

The first thing to remember is most electric floor heating systems for bathrooms are mainly meant to warm the floor so it's comfortable on bare feet - they don't do very much for actually heating the room.

Otherwise, they are pretty much as simple as you describe - lay it down, put down the mastic and tile, hook up the electric and you're good to go.
