^^Awesome
. I bet that'd be a great live show.
I've just bought their album 'Is it...Man or Astroman?' on ebay. Couldn't not, after this review - http://www.allmusic.com/album/is-itman-or-astro-man-r206610/review
That's an awesome album. Honestly, all of their albums are too good for our primitive ears.

I had not heard of Astroman but it very much reminds me of Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet with that same updated surf sound.

Yes, this is the Canadian band who did the Kids in the Hall intro

Another quickie concert review. We just got in from Suicidal Tendencies. Wow. I think they did half of their first album. No disrespect to previous lineups, but the current setup kicks--especially Steve Brunner (six-string bass) and Eric Moore (drums).
What to expect if you go see them: http://vimeo.com/15682119
Just a little something for the SCR (and Steve Martin) fans...

Oh yeah, more music. Saw Suicidal Tendencies again, and again it rocked. Cro-Mags opened. Talk about a blast from the past. Man or Astroman? was totally amazing, too. Again, been way too long since I have seen them.
Coming up in the new year: NOFX and Iron Maiden. (no, not together)
Maiden are touring the US again in the new year?
That might be a concert to take the wife to - I saw them at Twickenham stadium a couple of years ago and that was brilliant. Apart from the audience singing louder than the band could play without disturbing the neighbours.
