First concert has been played.  Seems like all the subscription services are buggering it all up, chopping sections out and such.  Thankfully the internet has ways around corporate buggery.

Here is the full concert.  Its powerful, also some damned good music.

I watched it streaming live uninterrupted on youtube for free on Mtv's channel. Might be available in their playlist.

Very well organized show. Everyone involved with the support crew deserves a big hand for what must have been a lot of work over a very long workday getting many different performers through smoothly doing short sets with very little down time between artists.

I watched a couple segments on YouTube, it appears various random audience members are posting videos (with varying quality levels.)  Filling Wembley Stadium is a big deal, it reminded me of the Live Aid concert back in 1985.

A lot of dusty moments as well. CWH should be proud looking down at his newphew.

If you are referring the the young drummer, that is his son.  Clearly inherited the style.

Ahhh, OK.

Taylor had some association with some people local to me (I don't know exactly why, maybe relatives in the area?)  He was the reason the Foo Fighters made a surprise appearance at a small city fair and played at a very small Pizza place (known for live music, he knew the owner).

I remember years ago he posted pictures from a family gathering (I think a birthday party), and Dave Grohl was just hanging out in the back.

Something I think that's cool about the Foo Fighters is they have such wide ranging interests in different genres of music.  Not that long ago they covered a bunch of Bee Gees songs, and did them very well.

I started watching after dinner, and had to hit the pause button at the 4-hour mark. YYZ is a pretty good stopping point.

I watched the beginning of My Hero with Shane, thought it was pretty special.  But it was late and the kids were in bed so I cut it off after a couple minutes.
