This is the most awesome TC I've ever seen…at my house:
If anyone has a better TC card, play it.
You'll have to let us know how Google Fiber is. It will be a while until it is even a competitor in our market, so I don't have to deal with customers bullE36 M3.

If Ford made that with a back seat and a manual transmission, I'd be on it like white on rice..

You and me both.

Back seat check, manual trans, sorry, I don't belive we even do a manual in Europe.
Always thought this would be a good useful car for me. And I have wondered if the third row seat from an expedition could be made to fit.
I still want to see one in old school Ford Racin' Blue, lowered on black steelies (or Cragar Soft 8's!). I have a hunch it would work really well.

Mine has a back seat but if you want third row seating you will have to wait until the 2014 models arrive.
@ Adrian: They do have manuals in the UK. And they come with diesel engines. Most of them over there are that configuration.

I'd rock that on the steelies (I'm such a scene whore )

Before the first year the TC came out, there was a prototype of it at the Philly Auto Show and it had a manual trans. I'd be okay with no third row. As long as it has a second row back seat, i'm game. Maybe Mazda should take the TC, rebadge it and put one of the Skyactiv motors in it. If the Cx-5 can get the mileage that it does, I bet a Skyactiv TC would pull pretty good mileage.
Shouldn't you be able to swap manual transmission stuff from a similar year focus for a bolt in operation?

Interestingly enough the Google Fiber trucks have racing stripes.

That is indeed a mail slot. My house was built in the late 1930s. Several houses nearby have special doors & compartments for milk delivery.

So far, it's been great. I did a sped test on a desktop using ethernet, and saw 654 Mbps download and 639 Mbps upload. I haven't noticed much that I would label mind blowing, but Netflix and Huku videos start instantly, and skipping around is like watching a DVD.

Transmission - Yes, but final drive ratio will hurt load capacity
Shifter - Probably
Pedals - No, you would have to get them from Germany
ECU - The big problem, you would have to use a manual trans ECU and do some rewiring.
