When I was a teenager, there was a guy in my neighborhood that would launch a 17' boat with a FB.
Getting it up the ramp usually involved some tire smoke.

My boss’s 16 year old son recently lost his 2019 Pathfinder that way. Tried to launch a boat by himself. The boat ended up in the middle of the lake, and the truck and trailer ended up at the bottom of the lake. Truck had less than 5000 miles on it.
Kid ending up swimming out the window as it went under. Nothing quite like watching Dad’s new truck sink to the bottom while you stand there in your boxers. He’s really lucky he’s not dead.
Towing with undersized vehicles can end really badly.
A friend of mine has made it a point of pride to live without a truck. I've personally seen a 46re and a 383 sbc short block loaded into the back seat area of his '96 Olds LSS. I wasn't there for it but I've been told a a complete 4th gen f-body 10 bolt with brakes on it was loaded in there too.
Of course there was also the time we found out we could roll 3 deep in an SN95 convertible with his sound gear and guitar all crammed inside it. Apparently the area behind the back seat is the perfect size for a Martin guitar case.

I don't believe you need a crewcab dually to pull a car trailer. But I can say that a longer wheelbase on hte tow vehicle makes things much less white knuckle.

I have actually towed my 16' trailer with my Samurai. Top speed was 45. The trailer was empty.
Then we loaded it with a bunch of Girl Scouts and towed it in a Christmas parade. The kids had a blast. Nobody died.
And 4 low perfect for Christmas parade speeds.
It's towed a few other things in the past as well.
It's been on the other end of the hitch as well.
Back in the 90's, A guy raced out of a 24 Enclosed Trailer carrying a Limited Mod Kart with a 1992 Jeep Wrangler. He used a towing Weight Hitch and Airbags. Also have the 4wd locked as well.

It's easier to take the passenger seat out and load engines in the resulting hole. Plus, threre's a built in retractable cargo strap!

Back seat of a 4 door. Same trick. It worked surprisingly sell but the car sags a bit in the rear after all this abuse.
I've seen sketchier things on American roads.
