so are they going to start regularly scheduled flights to and from that airport now that they know it can be done?
Nah. The runway is too short to take off at maximum weight -- it only worked here because the fuel tanks were mostly empty.

It's actually decently busy as-is. A couple weeks ago I was working with an avionics vendor that sent a few tech reps around. They flew their own airplane from Michigan down and landed at Jabara.
McConnell is actually where they want to carry that hardware anyway. Jabara is basically 100% gen-av so the biggest bird that would land there might be a Boeing BBJ / 737. And that would take up just about 100% of the runway at worst-case.
