The stuff is 41 bucks for 100 feet at the home depot. Any place have it cheaper?

Thanks,

Joey

zip cord? Sometimes referred to as "lamp cord" is the two pole flexible wire most lamp manufactorers use when they connect the lamp to a wall. It's pretty cheap, pretty weather resistant, and pretty flexible stiff.

You can also get "add-a-taps" for it

seems like that stuff was similar to the cheap speaker wire you can get at radio shack. might not be able to get green or black though.

Ah cool. So there's no reason to use the actual landscape stuff? I cam bury the speaker or lamp wire?

You want wire that's rated for underground and/or outdoor use. Speaker wire or zip cord are not.

I should have noted if it was being buried or not.

You also might want to note that some critters--squirrels--actually LIKE to eat the plastic coating of certain wires. I'd imagine the landscaping wire is designed not to be tasty.
