GoPro Memory card

I just got a GoPro silver and i am now onthe prowl for a micro SD card.

Ill make this short and sweet.

What do you guys/gals use? What exactly am i looking for? I know the write speed is important here.

I use a SanDisk Ultra 32GB.

Normally on my other cameras you can use the USB cable to download the videos to the PC. The GoPro USB linkup doesn't seem to work right half the time so I also ended up getting a card reader.

I don't have a GoPro (shame on me!), but this PNY micro SD card has excellent reviews for data transfer speed, which is great for HD and 4K HD recording.

as a slight thread jack … I have one of the original GoPros … it uses a standard size SD memory card … does anyone know what the largest size the first GoPro's support ?

it's set up (and here is where I show my lack of knowledge) at 1080p (and as I indicated, I have only a vague understanding of what that means ) … I'm using 16GB cards … the question is can I go larger ? and how much recording time does a 16GB card give me ?
