Three to be exact. I picked up a Terratrike Rover 8 speed yesterday.
In an effort to help kick my considerable butt back into shape I decided to start riding a bike to work as the weather gets nicer. After a short ride on my old mountain bike my lower back and wrists were killing me. I went to the local shop and saw the Terratrike on the rack. It has an internal 8 speed hub and rides quite smoothly. I took it for. Quick spin around the block and was surprised at how much fun it was. The steering system makes it feel like you are driving a kart.
I just took it for its first ride today since it wasn't raining or snowing. Made it about 3 miles which isn't much but I was happy considering it has been 4 years since I was last on a bike and more than 10 since I road any real distance regularly. My legs are slightly jello but I feel good. I hope tomorrow is nice in the morning so I can get another ride in before work. It will take a little work to get to where I can ride to work but I will get there.
