Since several of my friends are already convinced I'm secretly Scandinavian due to an interest in Volvo’s, Saab’s, Stieg Larsson books and Norse mythology I’m just confirming their suspicion. The other night while surfing Netflix streaming movies I came across a Finish film with English subtitles called ‘Troll hunter’ It’s shot as a mockumentary. It’s supposedly found footage of some students who set out to track a bear poacher only to find he's a troll hunter for the government and that the government has been covering up the existence of trolls for years. Personally I found it very funny along with my 11 year old. If you have any interest in Norse legends and fairly tails there are lots of references to them in the story. I only mention it here as I had never heard of it and it would probably be off peoples radar.

BTW the license plate on my Volvo reads ‘JOTUNN’ which is old Norse for Troll, giant or similar and also forms the name of Jötunheim or Jötunheimr one of the nine worlds in Norse mythology. I just wish I could get ‘ö’ rather than ‘O’ on a license plate. OK, end of geekyness

Saw it a few months back. Very well done for what was(I'm guessing ) a B monster movie.

I watched "Troll Hunter" and thought it was Hiliarious/Awesome. I now wonder if all Norwegian Mocumentaries are this good.

Eekk, I just watched the trailer for dead snow. I don't think it's for me. I used to love horror movies as a teen, but I (literaly) just can't stomach them anymore. I even have to look away during House when they're operating on someone.
