From the New Car Dealership, get the 2006 Corvette (C6) Z06. Then goto GT Auto and select the "Racing Modifications" option (last one on the right). After that, the only mod you can do is tires. You may run any Race tire.

Yes, on some cars you can. After you've done the race mod, go to your garage and view the car. There is a button that allows you to change the number and font.

Dunno really, it's 247 hp and around 850 kg. I'm not sure how most of my cars stack up with others in their class because I haven't done races like this, most people just go by hp or pp.
I do know I completely suck at online racing, and a Ram pickup can beat a Lambo, Lotus RM, and a JGTC Supra.
I'll start a new thread in the next day or so for Series 3. Then when this series is over, we'll change the sticky on the thread.

With 247hp and 850kg it should be in with a shot. It's really true that you can get too much power with fwd. I've got a Focus RS that's quicker than the rest but very hard to handle and keep from spinning the tires. If I could put some 275 Hoosiers on it . . . It would make a good drag car but just won't turn with some of the others.
I'm looking forward to the Z06 racing. I know it will be hard for me to learn to be smooth with but at least it's a new challenge.

That's what I've been testing with this morning (yes, I should be working). I've got mine handling pretty well, but brake points are key. Slow in, fast out is the name of the FWD game. Too fast in = weeds; lock the brakes = weeds; bad line = weeds.
@aircooled... the RS has a good bit of lift-throttle oversteer if you are looking for a car with a twitchy back end.

Is the Honda Accord legal for HH? I know its more of a sedan, but it is FWD and 4cyl. I tested one, 399hp ITS NUTS!
I have a few finalists from my testing, next up is tire wear testing, seeing how they respond to different compounds, and seeing how my consistency varies from car to car (how hard to be consistent?)
I have fully built and tested about 7-8 cars at this point. when the network gets back up if theres anyone who wants a decent car I have some I will be willing to trade. That said, I wanna keep my testing data close to my chest until we kick off.

The Accord is not a "hatch." But it is ferociously fast.

No complaints with that! Just wanted to have it clarified before i showed up with an FTO.
00-05 Celica is still kinda shooting brake, but i think we should exclude it anyways.
The FTO NEEDS to be excluded, though. That thing is crazy fast.

I don't know how it does in GT5... but it was awesome in GT4.
I think it looks good, and it handles VERY well.
Sounds horrible, though. 
Maybe that is why is it was $667,700 in GT4, and only $16,844 in GT5.

I'm almost certain the Cyborg didn't cost me that much in GT4, it was a little higher than what it is in GT5.

Is the Celica excluded? they technically do have a hatch, but are more "fastback" shaped then "Shooting brake"
IE, this is illegal
and this is legal
Trying to see if this is going to be the case, a few more that I tested may be excluded. (one with good reason due to performance)
