off topic but I was browsing the used car market last night and picked up a 62 Elan... holy crap this thing sticks to the road like GLUE with race softs! Autumn ring mini in ~37.9 sec? yes please!

That was my favorite car in GT3. I entered it in many races where it was a real challenge to win over higher hp, weight, and size cars and win with it. It's a different sort or enjoyment when a car isn't overpowered or under tired and is predictable. It might be interesting to have a spec. race with that sort of car and see how it goes.
Are we going to race tomorrow night? I've got the update successfully downloaded but haven't been able to get online yet. I'll try it again soon and see if it will work for me.

No. Which is probably a good thing, I'm fairly certain there isn't another FF that can keep up with its performance.

If I go with the Civic it is painted a color I could live with in real life. I painted it some sort of metallic bronze color with red centered bbs rs wheels. I like it. My Swedish flag Volvo is the wrong shade of blue, but since I used one of the rare matte colors I'm not repainting it. Figured since my MX5 is matte orange I should stick with a matte them for series three. I need to try the two of them out on some of the series three tracks - unless the Volvo is much faster on the long straight tracks, I'll go with the Civic.
I might be in trouble in the HH series... If TJ got in front of me I could not keep up with his Civic. Same with Nicks Alfa. This car might not be the midpack contender I thought it was.
One very sad thing, I just now noticed my 106 was power limited. Fixed that and the pug jumped up to 282hp.
Also found out the Skyline GTS25 type S is the best sounding and most fun Skyline in the game.

yeah TJ that's nice! Too legit to quit, all you need is poke and stetch and it's set, but I really do like that

It hasn't been decided yet. Next week is a race with Caterhams @ one of the iterations of Nurburgring. Last night the question came up about taking a week off before starting series3 but it wasn't decided yet. All the working guys with families may need a week off.

That should work. I was going to go out to work on the MX3 tonite, but i forgot to bring my nasty clothes, so i'll just be staying in playing games and watching TUF.

Also, someone talk some since into me. I am debating switching from the Focus to the CR-Z. I tested it at a neutral site and was 5 seconds a lap quicker in the CR-Z... ? And that is despite being 90kg heavier and down 40ish HP.

I painted my Z06 a very dark green and had intended to leave the wheels black, however, since it was so much darker that I thought it would be I painted the wheels beige. Looks good now. #77 if it matters.
My HH is white.
I repainted mine orange... And then dark green... Except I have white wheels... Maybe my identity crisis vette will change again in 2 weeks
