I have a few things set aside to put into the box, need to pick up a few things as well then get it ready to send out.
As stated a couple of posts ago I sent mine today, I got home and my package was here! When can we open and post pics?
Got my box in the mail today- may put off opening it this evening so I can get my own contribution taken care of.

Generally accepted practice is open and show as soon as you've received, as long as yours has been mailed. So...let's see them pics.
Well Happy early New Years to me! I was set up with a fine box from 914 driver. A couple of these items were like he is a long lost friend; LMC catalog for GMT400's, some nice pictures of planes (labeled as garage wall art), a cool piston for garage art, brakes pads for a 1984 Monte Carlo, a cool T-shirt, and some reading material! There was also a couple of Matchboxes which the kids are very excited about. I am not sure what these LEDs are supposed to be for but I will try to throw some voltage at them slowly and see what happens.
Thank you
Woohoo! New Years came early in Kentucky, courtesy of Illinois!
The box says, "Rattle Expected." and it lived up to that promise.
I don't totally understand this yet...
Bubble Wrap- for Safety! Though I'm not sure any of the bubbles still had much air in them upon arrival...
Now an un-safe and up-protected view of the contents of the box.
First up, a few rather thick hunks of aluminum. May be able to come up with a use for these, actually...
Next up is a set of 4 pistons, from what I can't determine yet. Definitely used, though...
Old-school mechanical tach- no clue how to hook it up though...
Wiring section with some form of sensor (I think) on the end... initially thought this might go with the tach but it doesn't seem like it.
Pretty solidly the most practical and useful (for me) item in the box- a nice, old-school-looking T-handle hex key set. The holder even is made to be hung on a wall, so I may take advantage of that!
Two orange vinyl stickers- would be interesting to hear the origins of them!
Magnetic LED light- looks like the batteries that were in it previously corroded a bit so it may need some cleaning up before use, but can never complain about more lights. :)
Tools! Nice Craftsman flathead screwedrivers, wrench, and 'multitool'
Gasket, with packaging! Which also lets me figure out what the gasket, and presumably the pistons are from- and it should probably come as no surprise that the gasket is from a Miata. I'm probably one of the few people on the forum who a) has never owned a Miata (have driven one at least... several, actually) and b) can't identify the pistons/gaskets at a glance.
Assorted parts! set of handle grips from something (bike?), exhaust clamp, broken end link, and what looks to be a bushing.
Finally, at the bottom of the box- probably the neatest thing in the box...
The complete (as near as I can tell) official sticker packet- including placement guide- from a 2019 NASCAR series. Definitely not something that common, and pretty cool!
Thank you GRM secret santa!

You're welcome! (I shipped it Saturday, that was fast)
Pistons are gsxr1000, so those are some truly fast hunks of metal. Engine they came out of was absolutely thrashed so I don't expect them to be any good. Tach is datsun roadster 1500. No idea if it works, but it looks cool. You could probably plug in a square drive speedo cable and chuck the other end in your drill to see if it works.
Sender is probably a coolant temp sensor. Probably common. Read the resistance then dunk it in boiling water and read again. Probably will match a common electric temp gauge. Probably.
Those t handles are nice, but doubles. And after working with ones with the ball heads any without are just too frustrating! The screwdrivers are all junk - heads are broken or twisted. You might be able to save them by grinding them down, but they really don't fit any screws and I needed them out of my toolbox (sorry).
The miata gaskets and the nascar stickers are regifts. I had em for a year and didn't use em, so, onward. The broken heim joint is from the challenge car, and the grips are from my son's bike. For some reason I thought that funny rubber bushing was for a bmw radiator which I thought you could use, but I'm unsure if that is true or not.
Happy new year!
Edit, oh yeah battle snake stickers! My buddy got those from a guy when buying some nitrous parts for the amc challenge car. The guy wanted us to run his stickers since he's got a shop in michigan somewhere. We never found the time to put em on, and they would've been hardly visible anyway since they were the same color as the car. They are pretty radwood though.

Cool, thanks! The larger screwdrivers will likely get used as what I use all large flatheads for: small pry bars. I could probably take a grinder to the hex drivers and make them have rounded heads. :p
Mine is on the way to Indiana. I think this is the third year this box has participated in the game!
I did not get this out today; I ran out of good tape. Label is printed and now taped on. This will be on its way to Alabama tomorrow. Sadly, I didn't weigh it until it was taped up. 18.9 lbs. Clearly I should have put a little more in, though I am nowhere near 33 lbs.

That is a seriously BLIPPI package design my 2yo lost his mind when hw saw the color scheme.
In reply to LopRacer :
I was going for Gulf livery, but that works too! They don't seem to make baby blue speed tape.
Mine went out to Florida yesterday
I forgot the weight
she said it wouldn’t be there until the fourth
Is that what priority means these days?
I apologize in advance to my victim. It would appear as though someone's seen fit to charge several hundred dollars in groceries at a Walmart in texas to my check card. Seeing as I a- don't shop at walmart, and b- haven't been in texas in almost 20 years...that's a problem. All my finances are on lockdown til it's sorted and I have like $70 in cash to get me through. I'll be on it asap. Good news is, it gives me more time to shenaniganize.
Holy cow you guys move fast! Packages are arriving already???
Hey, we had a couple more late entries and I've just replied with their victims' info. If you've e-mailed me about joining in the festivities but have not received a reply, please let me know!
Cheers everyone!

Robbie has probably just been neglecting his 1 hour a day in the garage working on F-Dat in order to get his out that quick. He certainly hasn't been giving us any updates on the build thread.
My wife was a doll and went to the PO to get me a box. They were all out. She waited in line to ask the guy if they had any more. She pointed out the size on the display that she wanted. He said nope.
As she was walking out she reached up with her cane and knocked the display box off the wall. It ended up landing on her head, but she got me a box.
She's the best!
