All along I thought my Fiesta, the 13 an the 18 had a hazyy windshield that cleaning did not cure. Even the replacement on the 13 was.
Then yesterday I had an ephithany(sp) . I wear glasses for distance and am required to wear them while driving. Yesterday I lowered them to clarify a figure on the panel. I looked out and wow, the winshield is clear. Tried it again for sure . Yep, my glasses cause the haze.
I need to talk to my eye doctor abought this.
The haze does not cause a driving vision problem. Just kind of annoying.

Have you tried to clean your glasses? My glasses are clear when they are clean.
Might have something to do wih the windshield being polarized also (if it is, which I think most modern ones are)

That's too bad...for me....I was looking for the hives recommendation on fixing this, if it was the windshield.
My kelmark has a pinto windshield, guessing from the 70s. Its hazy. At first I thought it was due to the extreme angle of the shield, but, recently my 85 b350s windshield (almost verticle) has started to haze around the outside. I assume the plastic in the lamination is breaking down causing the haze. Also assuming the kelmark is doing the same now, just more evenly.
Guessing there is no hope for either shield other than replacement.
In reply to RossD :
Glasses clean. No haze when not looking through the windshield.
Are your glasses polarized?
Not polaized.
I think it is because the glasses are designed for distance and anything close gets foggy.
I don't have them on now and I read without them.
Mystery solved.
