OK, so you're not the King Dork of all public transportation in New York City, but I had the opportunity to ride the new E line trains from Penn Station to Forest Hills and back.
New subway cars: the good
Well lighted, excellent ventilation, LED lighted map on the wall to show where you are and what's next (almost idiot proof) clean, I'm taller than women in low cut tops.
The Bad
Subways are underground, you have to hike your luggage up & down stairs. New cars make the rest of the system look tired. Not everyone has the same personal hygene standards.

They make for a much nicer commute. The only problem is that the AC is so good that a homeless person in the wrong place can fill a car with stench in no time. As for the women in low cut tops I don't know what you are talking about. I just come here for the money and the fumes. I didn't notice any women in low cut tops, or short skirts for that matter.
Right, and what's going on with the "Gladiator" type sandals? They're just weird.
