An elderly couple in a Nissan Titan with an obviously flat tire just pulled into my driveway. They had a spare tire but no jack and no lug wrench. Did I have a floor jack?
Dude. They picked the right house.
Had to pull the tailgate off to use my pry bar as a screwdriver for the spare tire lowering device. Could only get it down about 2 inches, but I was able to use my transmission jack to support the tire while I pushed the retainer through the hub.
Got it jacked up, blew their minds by changing the tire with a cordless impact, aired up the spare (it was at 16.5 pounds), torqued the lugs. The guy started digging in his wallet, but I asked him to do something nice for someone else instead.
To quote wiser men than myself,
Isn't it nice when you can help someone and it doesn't even take much effort to be their lifesaver that day. Well done.

Amen. One of the best feelings in the world.
