I could use something to lift my spirits today. So have at it people. I don't care how stupid, corny or silly it is. Or just share a small victory that you've won.

I have a starbucks gift card and am getting free coffee today.
After work, I am moving my fiance back home to Chicagoland--we had been downstate in school and our first jobs for 6.5 years (7.5 for her) and I got a job in January, she just accepted an offer on Monday.
I drove my '84 Mercury Marquis Brougham to work today. I used the vent window! It smells like 31 year old new velour.
Today marks the end of my first full week without sugar or creamer in my coffee. I have defeated the sweet demons that have haunted my morning beverage for decades. I am a new man. Born again from the ashes of pre-diabeetus type 2 family history!
The official GRM softball team won it's second game last night!
It's kind of a big deal......this is only our second victory......in 3 SEASONS!
I finally found and fixed the intermittent running issue on my Marauder and got to drive it to work again :)
I spent Wednesday on Bald Head Island with my wife and we had a lovely time. The weather was perfect and there weren't many people over there since it's not quite summer and it was the middle of the week.
I drove 6 hours to chicago during constant rain/drizzle and only used my wipers less than half a dozen times. Yay rainx. I also managed to only run across 1 cop during the trip.
I am going to surprise my almost 4 year old with his first real rc today. Its a lightly (and I mean LIGHTLY) used associated t4 rtr. For a box truck, the thing hauls ass. I'm thinking about strapping stickies to it and taking him parking lot bashing. And I'm going to let him design a body that I will paint. Should be fun.
Wednesday my engine builder friend finally brought back the Volvo B20 he was putting together for me for the past two years (bartering can be a bitch). It sounds awesome with the cam, ported head and headers. This, with the fact that my wife is going out of town for 10 days (!!) means I might actually get some time on my projects!!
In reply to Dr. Hess:
You might want to stay away from large ships.
My step son got called to day for his first ever interview(as a weldor at a local factory). As I've discussed here before(sharing too much personal info ) he has several Autism-type symptoms, so we're all very glad to see him taking this step.

I need to do this so bad.
I'm doing great! (Going to update the other thread in a few with more details, so in a few years I can look back and remember).
