have you seen these same sex family commercials chevy has been showing? how about the 2 dudes jumping over the broom at their wedding (not that there's anything wrong with that)seems strange, not that i really give a E36 M3 i quit buying chevys when they took the bailout, i do not dislike gays or lesbians.....what do you think?
I haven't noticed them, but who cares.
Haven't seen them, don't really care. Gays don't bother me, commercials do.
Apparently the marketing department has applied "sex sells" to all sex, bull sex, gay sex, whatever works.
as long as they aren't biracial same sex couples...
People will probably get bent out of shape about it as usual.
Hell, people are still up in arms about the interracial couple on the Cherrios commercial.
Who cares. It's 2014. None of this is new and people (bigots) need to get over it.

This. I don't like ads, particularly when they try to be 'bleeding edge' on social issues just to get talk started. The suits who greenlight them don't give a E36 M3 about the portrayals, it's all about the $ they bring in. Yes. I'm a cynic.

I don't think it will bother the people here. And the ones that it may are smart/nice enough to keep it to themselves.

wait... you're telling me that the sole purpose for a multi national multi billion dollar a year company would put out a multi million dollar advertising campaign is to get people to spend money on their products?
the hell you say...

I don't care that GM got the bailout. Our country needed it. Our govt spends lots more lending to small businesses, many of which default. My father's business has gotten SBA loans and paid them back. His 15 employees counted on that loan to remain employed.
Giving GM the loan (bailout) wasn't stupid. Allowing them to basically default on it was. GM didn't make that decision. Out govt did.
Cars are are purchased by all kinds of people. I'm glad our country allows the freedom to advertise to them.

I dont know, I ran into it searching for turbo forester pics a while back. pretty offensive if its real.
This ad is for real. Chevy is still scrambling to find a buyer for the Volt.....
the "woman" in that Subaru ad looks like either Tim or Eric from those shows that Adult Swim seems intent on producing forever despite how much they suck...

"we" might not care about them, but I'm betting that when the dumbberkeleys realize what they're seeing, the E36 M3 will hit the fan … just look at the crap Coke is getting for singing "America The Beautiful" in multiple languages
Hadn't noticed, dont care.

What is a commercial? I think I remember those from the time back before Netflix, Amazon Prime video, and offshore video streaming sites.
I don't watch Chevy commercials.

Every manufacturer runs separate ads in alternative publications. as to your actual comment, however, when was teh last time you saw a mainstream ad for teh Volt. They'd have better luck getting buyers if they advertised it as much as the good selling Cruze (which needs no help selling right now, because dealers are pushing them. Good luck finding a dealer that will push the Volt as an alternative option, or even KNOWS anything about Volts...).
If GM wanted to sell Volts, they'd have an ad campaign for them that was mainstream.

Isn't that add with the kid in the back seat asking if the batteries will last across the desert a Volt add? I think it is running during the Olympics. It mentions how 900 miles between fill ups for those that charge often.
Might just be a local add? (Electric vehicles would seem to be much more of a temperate climate product)
