Anyone that ships cars will take it on, just charge a bit more because it doesn't run.
I recently sold acar to a guy from Colorado. He flew to New York, rented a box truck and a car trailer, drove it back. Holy crap!
Oh my.
For what I imagine that going for, I doubt you'll feel it much if you have it shipped or fly out and haul it home on a rental rig.
Big issue with these is that there is essentially zero spares availability. I think you might be able to get the front windscreen from Germany if you know which car it came out of (I can't remember, despite having a head filled up with useless trivia like this) but the rest of the glass, pretty much all of the brightwork and anything OSI-specific has been unobtanium for a long time.
I guess you'd better be a good fabricator then. I can see finishing that in a custom-but-period-correct way with awesome imaginary fab skills and garage equipment I don't actually possess.
Tim, Its the same as a Ford Taunus. I actually drove all the way to Jacksonville FL to buy an OSI about 10 years ago. after many, many emails and pictures the guy assured me it was in good shape. It was the BIGGEST hunk of E36 M3 I had ever show up to purchase. I actually got gas money out of the guy! it was that bad! way worse than this one.
