Craigslist: Free trailer (must take boat).
Nah, I want to get rid of the boat so I can sell the trailer. Probably could get $500 for it.... if it didn't have the boat on top of it.
You could run an ad for free boat, will deliver. Seems like a lot less work than cutting it up or any of that, and maybe someone else needs a project.

Any panels flat enough that could be say a challenge car hood or spoiler/splitter? Maybe I'll come help you chop er up.
She lives in the upper peninsula. I might drag it home in August if I can't sell it by then.
not that I am suggesting it, but glassfibre boats burn well. Unfortunately the smoke is very black, acrid, and probably not good for you
In reply to mtn :
You’ve had good suggestions so far but going the other way there are plenty of bigger boats to be picked up free or really really cheap.
Marina’s get several a year and they look to give away or dispose of them. Some need a complete cleaning and minor repairs while others are more parts suppliers or outright trash.
Then there is boneyard boats. A site dedicated to old wooden boats some of which are gorgeous
As many others have already suggested, a sawzall converts the boat into smaller chunks and then your patience and the normal weekly trash pickups convert the chunks into emptiness.
This is how my boat completed the great circle of life.
PS: the chunk that had the boat VIN got some special attention with a flapper sanding disk before it went into the can.
On Chesapeake Bay, when the watermen don't need a boat, they find a quiet river-creek and run it up to then at high speed. Walk away.

Damn, if that was near me, I'd be tempted to take it off your hands. I could probably tow that with the Miata (only vehicle I own with a hitch).

You definitely could tow it with a Miata. Problem is that it weighs way more than it should, which makes it harder to launch. My best guess is that back in the 60's, they didn't know how strong fiberglass was, so they used about 4x more than they should have. A boat this size should be able to be easily launched by one person; this requires 2 relatively strong people.

Mad Machine has the recipe. I have a friend who can't stop buying worthless sailboats. She's up to three. It's her therapy and her passion. She likes to sail, has no money, and is eager to learn, so she buys hopeless cases and fixes them.
Someone out there will give you $500 for the package. Facebook marketplace and sailing groups.
