I blame you GRM

Last night I had dream about a van that was pretty much just like this one, except it wasn't quite as long, and didn't have 6 wheels The paint was more like this one It was definitely a 4x4, and may have had 4ws too. (Remember, its a dream) The interior was seriously pimped out.

In the dream, my wife bought it for $350 in a Copart online auction. She was the only bidder. It ran and drove, but didn't smell very good. I told her that at least I could junk it and make at least $200 profit. She said that I was going to fix it up and take her on a road trip.

The only reason that I even know about Copart auctions is because of the article in last month's issue. Thanks GRM.

For what it's worth, as a kid I built this kit:

Except I eventually jacked it up. Then I shortened it by the length of the side door.

I had the same van! Mine ended up like a poorly done ADV version of the A Team van with a balsa rear spoiler. Actually I think it was the basis for the kids' van on The Goldbergs last month.

I will own a lifted 4wd fullsize van some day. Hopefully done full on 70s pimp style.

And my wife blames grm for many of the same things I thank them for.
